CLASH MMA got in touch before their very first press conference. Since then we have streamed their press conferences, fighter weigh-ins, media workouts and the b4theclash video podcast.
What makes it hard. Neither a press conference nor a weigh-in stays in one place. Fighters move between the table, the scales and the staredown, journalists ask questions from the back of the room, and the whole thing is over in twenty minutes. A camera on a tripod misses half of it.
What we build for it. Wireless cameras right in the middle of the action, a vision mixer cutting between the speaker and the close-up, and our own connection that doesn’t depend on the venue’s network. That’s how we streamed from O2 universum, too.
The b4theclash video podcast is a different game - it’s shot in a studio, with a fixed setup and a longer running time. Same crew, same mixing position.
The streams go out live on CLASH MMA’s channels, and the recordings live on as content for social media.
